One-Hour Mental Health Awareness ok


Overview

This course aims at imparting basic but essential knowledge that every individual needs to know about mental health and illness. Why is it essential? Because only with knowledge and awareness can we take steps to clear our community of stigma and encourage empathetic attitudes and behavior.

Participants will be briefed about:

  • Mental health and well-being- Factors influencing it
  • Mental illness and risk factors
  • Coping techniques
  • Importance of self-care in mental health

Format

  • This is a 1-hour virtual session
  • Minimum 40 to maximum 50 per session so that the instructor can support participants adequately
  • No materials will be distributed
